News for people who run a businessTax reform: follow the transition

About Us

Clear information for better business decisions.

Gestão Empresarial is an independent news portal for entrepreneurs, owners of small and mid-sized companies, managers and accounting professionals. We publish news and explainers on business management and on Brazil's tax reform, in Portuguese and also in English, Spanish and Italian.

Why we exist

Running a business in Brazil means a heavy routine and rules that change all the time. The consumption-tax reform, approved by Constitutional Amendment 132/2023 and regulated by Complementary Law 214/2025, will change prices, contracts, systems and cash flow for almost every company through 2033.

When information arrives fragmented, full of jargon or unsourced, the consequences show up in cash: wrong pricing and regime decisions, penalties for missed deadlines and lost opportunities. Gestão Empresarial was created to reduce that risk by explaining what happened, why it matters, who is affected, what to do and what remains uncertain.

What we cover

Our coverage spans tax reform, taxes and accounting, business management, finance, sales and marketing, people and HR, entrepreneurship, business technology, law and compliance, and the economy, with particular attention to practical impact on small and mid-sized companies.

How we work

We prefer primary sources such as published legislation, acts of Brazil's Federal Revenue Service, the Ministry of Finance and the IBS Management Committee, official data and company announcements. Automation helps find stories and prepare drafts; configured checks must pass before publication, and sensitive or uncertain stories require an editor's decision. Every article lists the references consulted.

Our content is informational and does not replace advice from an accountant, lawyer or consultant who knows your company's situation.

Independence

Gestão Empresarial decides what to cover on editorial grounds. Advertising, when shown, is clearly separated from journalism and never influences what we publish.
